“Mentorship.”
It’s a key word that Aubree Munro, the former Florida National Championship catcher and medal winner for Team USA, emphasizes in the latest video released by the organizers of the Building Future Olympians to promote the weekend camp coming up three weeks from this Saturday and Sunday.
“You guys have seven Olympians coming, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity being able to train with this many Olympians,” the legendary backstop continues, “and I’m just excited to spend a lot of time with you guys and work with catchers and get into the nitty-gritty of our game. This mentorship aspect is really cool to me because we’re going to sit down away from the field and just talk to you guys and share things that are important to us and have impacted our journeys.”
