In sports and in life, failure is inevitable. But in softball, it’s a teacher like no other. From strikeouts to slumps, from errors to tough losses, failure builds the grit that athletes need to succeed. For me, the lesson took root during my playing days at the University of Louisiana Monroe—and I still have it to this day.
