On Monday we will begin our extensive reveal of the 2019 Extra Inning Softball High School All-American Teams and before, during and after the process we will profile worthy candidates.
If you have a player to nominate for All-American consideration, email [email protected] but time is running out!
Today we head to Northern California to learn more about an outstanding 2022 grad who is committed to the National Champion UCLA Bruins, Caitlyn “Caity” Newburn.
Caity was in our Top 20 overall rankings for the 2022 Extra Elite 100 when we wrote of her:
“Caitlyn helped lead her Sorcerer-Schroll 14U team to the PGF National Championship game versus the Corona Angels and then seamlessly transitioned to the 18U level last fall competing for the starting catcher job of Old Skool along with a senior going Utah and a junior committed to Boise State.”
Here’s more on this future Bruin…
