Athletics Mercado 2027-Bustamante looked solid in pool play action on Saturday with victories over Arizona Storm Premier-Kobesaw, 4-1, and Hotshots National 09-Nelson, 11-2.
P/1B Arriana Romero, #1 in the 2027 Extra Elite 100, and 3B/1B Maya Matthies, #6 in the 2027 Extra Elite 100, both hit home runs for Athletics Mercado 2027-Bustamante.
Lady Magic-Munoz picked up victories over Wilcats Premier Weil 2027, 15-1, and Arizona Storm-Torres, 8-0.
2028 Kate McCartney doubled, 2027 Taylor Jennings and 2027 Natalie Brizaitis tripled and 2027 Yelli Calvo homered for the Magic in a 16-hit attack against the Wildcats.
2028 Caelyn Campos went 3 for 3, 2028 Regan Wise and Jennings doubled and McCartney homered in the win over the Storm.
Athletics Mercado-Nelsen recorded victories over Arizona Storm-Torres, 9-1, and Wildcats Premier Weil 2-27 ,3-2.
RF Imani Covarrubio went 2 for 3 with an RBI, 2027 C/1B Sofia Ayabarreno went 1 for 2 with two RBIs, 2027 LF/1B Chloe Koenigshofer went 1 for 2, 2B Isabela Miller went 1 for 2 with two RBIs and 2027 P Ciera Overton went 1 for 2 with an RBI for Kevin Nelsen’s team in the win over the Storm.
Ayabarreno went 2 for 2, Covarribio went 2 for 2 with an RBI, Miller went 1 for 2 with an RBI and Overton went 1 for 2 with an RBI for Athletics Mercado-Nelsen against the Wildcats.
Torynn Slaughter drove in four runs, Ava Briski had two doubles and Karson Norton had three triples and a double, Violet Mitchell pitched a perfect game through four innings against the So Cal A’s and had two triples as Rogue FC-Mabrey picked up 14U division victories over So Cal Athletics VC/Richardson, 9-2, and Ohana Tigers-Indian/Adams, 9-3, in the 14U division.
