Can you believe Thanksgiving is just three weeks from today?!? Crazy how fast time is going!
It was a good start to November as several dozen standout softball players have a lot to be thankful for, namely, they know where they’ll be playing collegiate ball.
This week we have commit news for programs like Alabama-Birmingham, Bucknell, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Penn State, San Diego, Virginia, Stanford, Washington and many more.
Below you’ll find the list of our 90 additions to the Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database which now has more than 6,100 players from the Classes of 2018 to 2024, making it the biggest in the softball world.

Players, parents and coaches: keep writing us and sharing your stories!

Here’s one we got on Nov. 1, 2020 from Sarah Coon, a 2021 catcher/third baseman who plays for the Ohio Hawks 18U – Hutchinson team… she wrote of her committing to Virginia:
“I started playing softball at a very young age,” Sarah explains, “and I instantly fell in love with it.”
“My biggest dream was always to play collegiate softball and I started to realize I had a good chance of fulfilling that dream as I continued to get older and play at a higher level. I joined a few different travel teams to try and get in front of the right coaches and get the exposure I needed, and during the summer of my sophomore year I saw Virginia attending some of my games.”
“The amount of games they came to watch me play in really showed me how much time and effort they put into recruiting and that automatically gave me a good feeling about the program.”
“After September 1st I was contacted by Coach Jo, and the entire coaching staff took the time to get to know me and they treated me like family from the start. When I went on my visit I instantly knew Virginia was home as soon as I stepped on campus. Committing to such an incredible school is still one of the best decisions I have ever made.”
Additionally, here are just a few who have posted their verbals on Twitter & Facebook:
