We have another big week as top players nationally continue to decide their future college homes!
This week we have commit news from those programs along with Arizona State, Boise State, BYU, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Pitt, Purdue, Southern Miss, Syracuse and Utah among many others!
Below is our updated database with 66 additions to our Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database which now has over 5,700 players from the Classes of 2018 to 2024 making it the biggest in the softball world.
Thanks to all those who contact us and let us know about their great news… here are samples of a couple that we received this week:
Danielle McCartney, a 2021 IF/OF with the New Orleans Nightmares, talks about why she’s committed to Central Baptist:
“I decided on Central Baptist because of the welcoming family environment of the campus and because Coach Jordan the softball coach is not only someone who will help develop you as a player but also as a person. I am excited to be a part of the mustang team and help take the team to the next level.”
“I first came in contact with CBC at a camp in January of 2020,” Danielle continues, “The head coach emailed me and invited me up on a visit where I toured the campus and practiced with the team. The coach contacted me the next day with an offer and I met in contact for the next couple of months. I finally came to a decision and verbally committed on May 14th 2020. I committed to play at CBC as a C/UT but my main positions are 3B,SS, and C.”
Another one we liked came from Kylie Bishop, who wrote:
I am a 2022 graduate from Liberty,Texas where I play 3B for the Lady Panthers for Head Coach Karen Slack. My travel team is the Texas Dirt Divas 18u National where I am a utility player. I am so blessed and very excited to announce my verbal commitment to Sam Houston State University! Thank you for all you do in the softball world! #EatEmUpKats 🧡
