Club News: Presenting the Extra Inning Softball 2021 “All-Summer Team (14U)!”

Haylee Whitmore was on the Virginia Unity team that went 11-1 to win PGF 14U Nationals.

We begin our look at club player standouts from the Summer of 2021.

On Wednesday, Sept. 1, we’ll honor those at the 16U level and on Tuesday, Sept. 7, we will feature those who shined at 18U.

Lilly Parrish
MVP PLAYER

Lilly Parrish, 2024, P/1B, Virginia Unity – Johnson/Ross: Pitched in 34 games including 26 starts and in 133 innings had 176 strikeouts versus 46 walks and 20 earned runs (1.053 ERA) with a 24-2 record with three saves. Also batted .372 with an OBP of .453. Starting and winning Pitcher for two National Championship Games: the 2021 14U USA Nationals and the 2021 PGF 14U National Championships.

MVP PITCHER

Jayden Heavener, 2024, P/1B, Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier – Burns: Lefty pitcher put up big strikeout totals (216 K’s in 103 innings for average of 2.01 per inning) with a 0.80 ERA to end with a 16-3 record. She also hit .347 with a .425 on-base percentage, 25 RBIs and eight home runs.
