The Beverly Bandits 16U – Page team went undefeated in the 30 team PGF 16U Premier National Qualifier held in Kansas City, Kansas Oct. 28th 2022 – Oct 30th, 2022.

The Bandits 16U squad led by Head Coach Bryan Page ended October 2022 with a bang, going undefeated (6-0) at the KC PGF National Premier Qualifier in Kansas City held October 28-30 and won a Premier Bid at the 2023 PGF Nationals in California.
The Bandits finished October on fire, going (14-1) in games against quality opponents all over the Midwest showcasing their talents.
Offensively the Bandits were led by Addisyn Trackwell (2026, 3B/OF) clipping .615/.571/1.418 with nine RBIs.
Also impressive were five hitters who were part of the “.400 Club,” impacting the game on the offensive side:
- Karly Meredith (2025, P/UT) .533/.529/1.196
- Makayla Van Vossen (2026, MIF) .444/.524/1.190
- Savannah Page (2026, 3B/OF) .444/.545/1.101
- Vanessa Kates (2026, 1B/C) .400/.500/1.000
- Dionne Owens (2026, 2B/OF) .400/.400/.800
The Bandits scored wins versus the KC Peppers, SE Iowa All Stars, Sox Fastpitch National (Spain), Athletics Jendro Premier, KC Phoenix, and MN Magic 16U National to secure the bid and gave up just seven runs in six games while scoring 38 runs themselves.

“The pitching was exceptional on every front,” Coach Page noted, pointing specifically to Karly Meredith (2025, RHP/IF) and Alaina Peetz (2025/UT)—both from the 2025 class— as the duo threw a combined 32 innings giving up only four earned runs while striking out 64 opponents.
“Both have been clocked in game in the low-to-mid 60’s at showcases by colleges coaches over the last month,” their coach added.

Here’s a rundown of the final four wins in KC last weekend:
* In Game 1—a blind draw—the Bandits drew a well-coached and seasoned team in Sox Fastpitch National – Spain which resulted in a pitching duel battle as Alaina Peetz gave up just one earned run while striking out five).
In a 0-0 tie thru six innings, looking for a spark, the Bandits called on 2026 grad Dionne Owens in a pinch-hit situation and she ignited the Bandits by laying down a crucial bunt to get on base.

The inning continued as Paige Bodenheimer (2026, CF/2B) laid down another perfect bunt, followed by Makayla Van Vossen loading the bases for Riley Silvers (2025, C/UT) to hit a sac fly to bring in the winning run as the Bandits advanced by the final of 3-1.
* In Game 2, the Bandits faced off against Athletics Jendro National winning 6-1 behind a stellar pitching performance by Karly Meredith’s complete game 15-strikeout performance and Vanessa Kates going 3-for-3 with Addisyn Trackwell smashing a big triple to drive in two.
* In Game 3, the Bandits shut out KC Phoenix 5-0 behind another strong pitching performance by Alaina Peetz—a six-inning, 11 strikeout complete game. Offensively, Makayla Van Vossen and Alaina Peetz contributed to the win and advance the team to the Winner’s semi-finals.

* The finale of the showcase was against the Minnesota Magic National 16U team that scored a lot of runs in the tournament. Karly Meredith got the nod in the circle throwing six innings with 12 K’s while giving up just two runs. She also contributed at the plate going 3-for-3, Trackwell, Van Vossen, and Owens also collected two hits apiece to help end the game in the 6th inning via the run-rule win, securing the PGF Premier Bid to California next Summer.
“This team is beginning to figure it out and is gaining confidence,” Coach Page explained. “Coming into the season, there is always that lingering “pressure” wearing the Bandit uniform. Pressure truly is a privilege, and the girls are embracing it.”
The head coach pointed to other areas where the team has come together.
“They have shown they can be coached, learn to be team players, sacrifice the things necessary to win ball games, and execute in the highest pressured situations at the biggest showcases and tournaments.”
Next up are two events to cap the Fall season: this weekend at Scenic City in Tennessee (Nov. 5-6) and finally at home in Rosemont, Illinois for Banditfest (Nov. 12-13) where the team of 13 players will have the opportunity to face off against their peers within the Bandits program in front of college coaches.
“The future is bright for these young ladies,” concluded Coach Page.
