A PGF National Qualifier was held for 14U teams from Saturday-Sunday in Modesto, CA. Here are some of Sunday’s highlights:

LTG LIONS-BUCK EARNS PGF 14U PREMIER BERTH
LTG Lions 2029-Buck cruised to an 8-0 win over California Grapettes-Flores to win its bracket and earn a PGF 14U Premier Nationals berth at the PGF National Qualifier on Sunday at Rainbow Sports Complex in Modesto, CA.
2027 P Hayden Fell, 2028 P Brooklyn Talbot and 2027 P Kaylee Buck combined for 20 innings pitched, allowed only three earned runs and struck out 11 to lead the LTG Lions pitching staff.
2027 1B Miyani Marshall (.583 AVG, 1 double 2 triples, 1 HR) and
2028 SS Izi Castillo (.455 AVG) were some of the offensive standouts for the LTG Lions, who outscored their opponents, 30-4, and only committed three errors in four games.
LTG-Buck beat San Diego Fight, 9-3, Power Fastpitch 2027-Delauter, 10-0. Athletics Mercado-Godoy, 2-1, and California Grapettes-Flores, 8-0, in bracket play.

IMPACT GOLD-SIEGEL WINS PGF 14U PREMIER BERTH
Impact Gold National-Siegel went 4-0 in bracket play, outscoring its opponents 30-1, to win its bracket and earn a PGF 14U Premier Nationals berth at the PGF National Qualifier on Sunday at Rainbow Sports Complex in Modesto, CA.
Impact Gold got dominant pitching from 2028 Amanda Elkins (9 IP, 7 Ks, 4 hits), 2028 Jaiden Gutierrez (8 IP, 4 Ks, 3 hits), 2027 Taylor Lorenzo, 2027 Stella Robbins and 2027 Alisha Covarrubias.
Impact Gold hit .480 as a team, led by 2027 C/1B/3B Hudson Ortiz (6 for 7, 3 triples, 3 RBIs, 4 runs), 2027 OF/MIF Alisha Covarrubias (4 for 6, 2 RBIs, 3 runs), 2027 2B Victoria Tejeda (4 for 10, 4 RBIs, 4 runs), 2027 SS Olivia Frias (6 for 10, 4 RBIs, 3 runs), 2028 OF Madison Jauregui (5 for 9, 5 SBs, 3 RBIs), 2028 C/3B Keira Luderer (5 for 11, 1 triple, threw out 3 of 5).
IG-Siegel beat Breakers Labs-Cortez, 3-0, Aspire Softball Academy, 18-0, CA Breeze 09-Daniel, 5-0, and Cal Rebels-Vidal/Silva, 4-1, in bracket play.
