One of the top club events of the Fall takes place in Texas this Saturday and Sunday as the 10th Annual Prospect Wire Bomber Exposure Weekend will feature 200 top teams from across the nation descending on College Station and Houston.
Taking place over Halloween weekend, there will be a lot of “treats”—i.e. top teams and elite players—for the 175 registered college coaches who will be in attendance.
The event spans from College Station to Houston and will see competition take place on more than 50 fields across the Lone Star State for the 18U, 16U and 14U age divisions.

The Bomber Exposure Weekend, in addition to drawing many of the best club teams in the country to Texas, will also offer to recruiters in attendance a Coaches Social at Davis Diamond during the Texas A&M vs Texas State fall ball game.
Scott Smith, the head of the Bombers Fastpitch organization and head coach of one of the top 18U team playing this weekend, is proud of not just the quantity of teams that are coming from all corners of the nation—from California to Florida and all points in between—but also the quality of teams.
“It’s beyond exciting for Prospect Wire Softball to bring such an awesome event to College Station and Houston during what is the peak of the recruiting season,” the Bombers’ National Program Directors says.
“The amount of incredible teams coming to this event is over the top and I can’t wait for everyone to hit the field. The Bomber Exposure Weekend has grown every year and I am beyond thankful to all the teams, players and parents that are participating in this year’s event.”
The games begin Saturday morning and will run through Sunday—Halloween Day—finishing around 5 pm or so, just in time to give some candy-loving younger athletes time to get in some trick-or-treating.

Before then, however, the weekend will kick off with the Saturday morning College Coaches Camp that will feature 285 athletes receiving skill instruction and playing in scrimmage game settings overseen by college coaches.
The Camp and the weekend of elite softball will be observed by college coaches also from all over the country; here’s a look at the programs confirmed to be in attendance:
