It wasn’t as big as last week’s mammoth 150 updates, but this week still was sizable and notable for the number of players across the country who finalized their college choices.
We have 75 player updates in the Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database this week ranging from Abilene Christian to Yale with news from programs such as Arizona State, Boston College, Clemson, Iowa, Liberty, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, Wisconsin and dozens more!
Helping us greatly was our research on players and teams for the 2020 Extra Elite 100 and the Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings which turned up a lot of Class of 2020 and 2021 news.
Check back tomorrow (Thursday) when we’ll run the list of the 75 new updated verbals and/or club changes of committed players!
We appreciate all those who let us know about the new commits via Twitter and Facebook… you can forward info through email: [email protected] or tag us @ExtraInningSB.
Here are a just a few of the Twitter announcements from the many dozens we received last week…

We always welcome emails from players, parents and coaches sharing the good news!
For example..
*** Aubree Terris, a 2020 catcher/third baseman with the Minnesota Force 18U – Power team, wrote us to say how happy she was to be headed to Upper Iowa University and play the game she loves:
“Hi, I’m Aubs!”
“I have been playing and competing in softball since I was 8 years old. I knew from the minute I picked up a softball that the game was going to change my life! I loved everything about the game; the coaches, my teammates, the rules, the songs, the camaraderie, the forever lasting friendships, the good times and the hard times, EVERY SINGLE BIT of it, especially the person and athlete I slowly was molded into by everything I mentioned.”
“Softball is my happy place. I learned how to be a teammate, how to see the good despite the bad, I learned just how much more I am capable of, I learned how to be a leader, I learned how to be a good listener, I learned to never give up, and I learned that you NEVER stop learning the game!”
“I started out as a pitcher and later discovered my love for catching. I really feel as a catcher, I had a special understanding of what my pitchers needed. I work hard for every pitch. I am beyond excited to continue playing the sport I love at the collegiate level.”
