As we continue to gather research for our Extra Inning Softball All-American teams, we’re getting submissions on some pretty talented players and we’ll periodically profile some of them.
One of them was our Runner-Up National Player of the Week for May 6, 2018 when the junior from Owen Valley (Spencer, Indiana) High went 13-for-14 (a remarkable .929 average) with eight RBI, eight runs scored, six doubles and even 11 stolen bases.
But she didn’t stop there–she didn’t make an error all season and only has three in her entire high school career… and that’s why Lexi Carver is a good bet to make one of our All-American teams!
