I Committed Highlights: Avery Laird and Brooke Zuluaga
In the world of college softball recruiting, few players bring as much promise and dedication as Avery Laird and Brooke Zuluaga, both members of the Class of 2026. Laird, a powerful right-handed pitcher, recently committed to Grand Canyon University, drawn by its competitive Western Athletic Conference program and supportive coaching staff. Zuluaga, a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, chose Miami University, where she felt an immediate connection with the close-knit community and accomplished coaching team.
