In three and a half weeks, the PGF All-American Game and the first-ever PGF Futures Game will take place in Irvine, California.
The pair of matchups — East vs. West for the seniors and Juniors vs. Sophomores for the Futures contest — will be aired live on ESPNU (you can see our two articles previously posted below which list the team rosters).
In anticipation of the two talent-packed games, Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) produced its PGF Player Series Podcast, Episode 1 which is a preview of the games that will be held back-to-back on July 31st.
In the nearly hour long podcast, you’ll see Extra Inning Softball’s Brentt Eads and longtime PGF Championship Games broadcasters Daron Sutton and Amanda Freed talk about the talent in the game as well as enjoy interviews with some of the all-star players themselves.

PGF Announces Rosters for the 2021 High School All-American Game

Premier Girls Fastpitch (“PGF”) announced this morning the rosters for the 2021 PGF High School All-American Game to be played July 31 and aired lived on ESPNU.
The East vs. West format will feature 20 graduated seniors on each team and feature talented players representing every Power 5 Conference including universities that have been in this month’s Women’s College World Series including Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, James Madison, Oklahoma and UCLA.
Highlighting the roster is the 2021 Extra Elite 100 #1 player, pitcher Jordyn Bahl going to Oklahoma. She will pitch for the East team and her future batterymate for the Sooners, catcher Sophia Nugent, will compete for the West. She is rated #2 in the senior class
Speaking of player rankings, just how good is the talent in the All-American Game?
Of the 40 players set to participate, 37 of them are in the 2021 Extra Elite 100 and 32 of them are in the Top 50! And because of ties at certain ranking spots, there are 24 ranked in the Top 25 and 12 in the Top 10!
Some of the other notables to watch for include future Washington infielder Rylee Holtorf (West team, #3 in the rankings); Alabama-bound outfielder Dallis Goodnight (East team, #4 in the Extra Elite 100); Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun pitching signee Sam Landry (East squad, #4 in the Top 100) and Oregon signee, pitcher Stevie Hansen (West squad, #6 in the Elite 100).

PGF Announces 2021 Inaugural Futures All-American Game Roster of 2022 & ’23 Players

Ten days ago, Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) announced that it would be producing an underclass all-star game to be call the PGF Futures All-American Game to be held July 31, 2021 and that it would air on ESPNU.
