ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan softball team and head coach Bonnie Tholl announced the program’s 2023 fall softball schedule, featuring four dates, including three at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field at Carol Hutchins Stadium.
Michigan will host three regional foes, opening the fall ball slate with a contest against Toledo at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, before welcoming Concordia for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday, Oct. 8. The Wolverines also will host Bowling Green at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. Admission is free to all fall exhibition games.
The Wolverines will also travel to South Bend, Ind., for a 10-inning game at Notre Dame at noon on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The fall schedule provides UM softball fans their first opportunity to see the 2024 Wolverine lineup, which will feature 14 returning letterwinners. Team 47 also welcomes a talented freshman class that includes five nationally-ranked prospects in addition to sophomore/freshman Lilly Vallimont, who redshirted last season with injury.
The Wolverines graduated four veteran starters from last season, including 2021 Big Ten Player of the Year Lexie Blair and fellow All-Big Ten honorees Audrey LeClair and Melina Livingston, but return a pair of All-Big Ten selections in junior RHP Lauren Derkowski and sophomore infielder Indiana Langford.

Saturday, Sept. 30 — at Notre Dame, Noon (10 inn.)
Sunday, Oct. 8 — vs. Concordia, 1 p.m. (doubleheader)
