National Club Player of the Week (March 21, 2024)

The spring club season has gotten underway across the nation and throughout the spring club season, Extra Inning Softball will be recognizing the outstanding achievements of players from across the country.

Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week

Camryn Young has been selected as the Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week. She plays for Indiana Magic Gold under the direction of head coach AJ Fritsche and is a pitcher and shortstop.

Young helped lead Indiana Magic Gold to a 5-1 record and a runner-up finish at the St. Patrick’s Day Shootout.

She batted .417 over the six games and had a double and a triple and drove in eight runs. Young also scored nine runs and had a stolen base.

She also pitched 9.1 innings and struck out 12 batters.

Young had help from her teammates as Kenna Eaglin batted .500 and hit a home run and Annsley Adkisson hit .467, hit four doubles and had 11 RBIs.
