Did you know that Thurs., September 22nd is National Ice Cream Cone Day?
If you didn’t, that why we have a website—to share these important facts with you!
And yes, you’ve been working extra hard this month so can treat yourself to this… with permission from your coach and/or parent, of course!
Here’s what we’d love to have you do: in honor of National Ice Cream Cone Day, go have a dairy (or non-dairy if you prefer) treat and take a photo of it. Moms, dads, coaches… they can join in the fun too!
Your assignment: enjoy a cone with your fav people and take a pic. Sent to us and ID who’s in the photo and where it’s at… but there IS a deadline so be sure to send to us by Tuesday, Sept. 20th (this next Tuesday!).
And did you know that ice cream cones help keep the environment in better shape? Yes, it’s true: every time you eat ice cream in a cone, you’re doing the planet a favor by not using a plastic, disposable spoon and cup.
We’ll run the fun photos and you get to have fun with your favorite people… what could be more fun than that? Just get some napkins in case it gets messy!

Here are the basics and what we’re looking for…
NATIONAL ICE CREAM CONE DAY (Sept. 22, 2022)!
- Purpose: Get a treat with people you like!
- Deadline: Tuesday, September 20th at 8 PM EST / 5pm PST
- Photo ID: tell us who are the people in the pics (players, coaches, parents, siblings, etc.)
- Location: name of where you got the cone + city and state
- Team name: if relevant
- What makes the people you’re with special? At least enough to get ice cream with! Tell us in 100 words or less why these folks are worth treating!
