After day three of the Super Regionals, seven teams are on their way to Oklahoma City!
Two teams emerged from a winner-take-all game three, while an additional five teams swept their series’ to earn a berth in the Women’s College World Series.

OSU Knocks Off Defending Champs
Fourth-ranked Florida State and #13 Oklahoma State split the first two games of the Tallahassee Super Regional, and it was the Cowgirls who came out firing on all cylinders in game three.
Samantha Show again got the start for Oklahoma State in the circle, while Logan Simunek pitched well in relief, and benefited from some uncharacteristic defensive miscues by the defending national champions sealed the deal.

Tide Rolls On
The other winner-take-all matchup of the day took place in Tuscaloosa, between #8 Alabama and #9 Texas.
The Crimson Tide won game one of the series, but blew an early lead in game two as the Longhorns rode the emotion of Miranda Elish’s injury to buoy them to victory and force game three.
In that third game, the Tide again jumped out to an early lead and, on the back of Montana Fouts in the circle, withstood a late Longhorn grand slam to punch their ticket to OKC.
