The Extra Inning Softball Tournament Performance Rankings have been finalized for the Outlaws Summer Invitational, recognizing the top individual performances from one of the Midwest’s premier summer fastpitch events.
Hosted by D1 Fastpitch, the Outlaws Summer Invitational brought together competitive 12U, 14U, and 16U teams for three days of high-level softball in North Ridgeville, Ohio. The event featured a five-game guarantee with pool play followed by a seeded single-elimination championship bracket, providing athletes the opportunity to compete against quality opponents throughout the weekend.
Following the tournament, athletes submitted verified statistics for evaluation through the Extra Inning Softball Tournament Performance Rankings process. Every submission was carefully reviewed to identify players whose production, consistency, and impact stood out throughout the event. The Outlaws Summer Invitational has become a staple on the summer travel softball calendar, attracting organizations from across the region to compete at Victory Sports Park, Vic Janowicz Park, and Campana Park in Northeast Ohio.
Tournament Performance Rankings were completed for the 12U, 14U, and 16U divisions, recognizing both championship teams and the top individual performers from each age group.
How Tournament Performance Rankings Are Evaluated
Tournament Performance Rankings are designed to recognize athletes based on verified performance during a specific tournament. Unlike long-term player rankings, Tournament Performance Rankings evaluate what an athlete accomplished over the course of one competitive weekend.
Every submission is reviewed using Extra Inning Softball’s proprietary SERV Methodology, ensuring a consistent and objective evaluation process across every event.
SERV stands for:
- Software – Proprietary systems organize athlete submissions, tournament results, and performance data.
- Evaluate – Position-specific performance, measurable production, and on-field impact are analyzed.
- Research – Competition level, strength of opponents, and tournament context are reviewed.
- Verify – Submitted statistics are cross-checked through multiple data points before final rankings are published.
This methodology ensures that every athlete is evaluated using the same structured process while recognizing both individual excellence and performance within the context of team competition.

12U Outlaws Summer Invitational Top Performers
Ava Neuhaus has emerged as one of the premier young talents in the Class of 2032, earning #1 Overall and #1 Outfielder honors while competing for Diamond Heat. A dynamic centerfielder, Ava is coming off a standout season highlighted by earning World Series MVP and delivering a memorable walk-off double in a clutch moment.
She credits coach Trisha Hyde for helping build both her confidence and love for the game, while her energetic leadership keeps teammates engaged and motivated. Ava’s walk-up song is “Still D.R.E.” because she loves the beat and the confidence it brings to the plate.
Peyton Tobias earned #1 Pitcher/Hitter honors after showcasing her ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball for Diamond Heat. A true two-way standout, Peyton consistently delivered in the circle while also providing offensive production that helped her team compete at a high level throughout the event.
Her versatility, competitive mindset, and all-around play made her one of the tournament’s most complete performers and a key contributor to Diamond Heat’s success.
Kennedy Slater proved to be one of the most impactful offensive players of the tournament, earning #1 Hitter and #1 Catcher honors for Diamond Heat. Behind the plate, she provided steady leadership and defensive reliability, while her production at the plate consistently fueled her team’s offense.
Kennedy’s combination of power, consistency, and game management made her a standout performer and an integral part of Diamond Heat’s success throughout the weekend.
Grace Barca earned #1 Infielder honors after turning in a complete performance for Beverly Bandits Premier Estep. A dependable presence on both sides of the ball, Grace showcased smooth defensive play while consistently contributing offensively throughout the tournament. Her ability to make routine plays look easy, combined with timely production at the plate, helped establish her as one of the event’s top infielders.

14U Outlaws Summer Invitational Champions
14U Outlaws Summer Invitational Top Performers
Charley Carter put together a dominant all-around performance to earn #1 Overall, #1 Hitter, and #1 Catcher honors while representing Turnin2 Nahavandi. A versatile athlete in the Class of 2029, Charley made an impact on both sides of the ball with her offensive production, strong defensive presence behind the plate, and energetic leadership.
She credits her father, an assistant coach on her travel team, for continually pushing her to reach her full potential and believes success is earned through hard work and perseverance. Charley’s walk-up song is “Headlines” by Drake, a track that helps her step into the batter’s box with confidence and intensity.
Laiken Greiser earned #1 Outfielder honors after an outstanding tournament representing Outlaws FP Premier Reymer. A versatile Class of 2031 athlete who also plays catcher and first base, Laiken showcased the athleticism, defensive range, and offensive consistency that made her one of the event’s top performers.
She is a 2026 USA Softball High Performance Program National Selection Event participant and embraces the mindset that hard work can overcome talent. Laiken is a three-sport athlete, competing in softball, basketball, and volleyball, and plays up an age division with Outlaws FP Premier while also starring as a point guard and setter for her middle school teams.
Emma Lindhe earned #1 Infielder honors after a standout performance for Outlaws Premier Reymer. A talented Class of 2030 shortstop with the versatility to also pitch and play utility, Emma has already built an impressive résumé that includes being a 2026 USA Softball High Performance Program participant, a USA Softball 12U All-American, and the 2025 National Little League Home Run Derby Champion.
She credits her parents for helping shape her work ethic and lives by the motto, “Hard work WORKS!” Emma is working her way through the Top 100 movies of all time, loves listening to ’90s rap with her dad on tournament road trips, and never passes up a trip to Cracker Barrel.
Giavanna Newburry earned #1 Pitcher/Hitter honors after an outstanding all-around performance for Turnin2 Nahavandi. A Class of 2029 standout, Giavanna excels as both a dominant pitcher and impact hitter, highlighted by accomplishments that include throwing a perfect game, earning Rookie of the Year, All-District, and Second Team All-Conference honors.
She credits her success to a relentless work ethic and the guidance of her high school coach, who helped prepare her for the next level. Giavanna loves spending time with family and friends—and she’ll admit that if there’s a car ride to a tournament, there’s a good chance she’ll be asleep before they arrive.
16U Outlaws Summer Invitational Champions
16U Outlaws Summer Invitational Top Performers
Ella Oswalt delivered a dominant weekend to earn #1 Overall and #1 Pitcher/Hitter honors while leading Outlaws National Wolff/Homan. A true two-way standout, Ella made her presence felt both in the circle and at the plate, consistently impacting games with her competitive poise and all-around ability.
Her combination of power, composure, and production helped separate her from a talented 16U field, making her one of the tournament’s premier performers.
Camryn Wolfe earned #1 Catcher honors after a standout performance for Gators Premier Lloyd/Ketelhut. A Class of 2028 catcher and middle infielder, Camryn combines strong defensive leadership with consistent offensive production. Her résumé includes Indiana Sectional Championships (2025, 2026), an Indiana Regional Championship (2025), Back-to-Back All-Conference selections, and Defensive MVP honors at the Great Lakes Nationals.
She credits coaches Eddy Ketelhut and Kara Hazelwood for pushing her to become the best player and person she can be. Camryn’s walk-up song is “Narco,” a perfect match for the energy and enthusiasm she brings to the field every game.
Kaylee Ketelhut earned #1 Infielder & #1 Hitter honors after a standout performance for Gators Premier Lloyd/Ketelhut. A Class of 2028 corner infielder, Kaylee combines defensive consistency with offensive production and has built an impressive résumé that includes multiple All-Region, All-District, and All-City selections, along with Co-MVP honors and recognition for her excellence in the classroom.
She credits her father and coach, Eddy Ketelhut, for helping shape both her softball IQ and mechanics. Although her teams don’t use walk-up songs, Kaylee says she’d choose “In My Feelings” by Drake—a nod to the nickname “Kiki” that teammates gave her after hearing her sing the song at volleyball camp.
Leah Keur earned #1 Outfielder honors after a standout performance for Gators Premier Lloyd/Ketelhut. Throughout the tournament, Leah showcased outstanding range, defensive instincts, and the ability to make key plays in the outfield while contributing offensively when her team needed it most. Her consistency, athleticism, and impact on both sides of the ball helped distinguish her as one of the premier outfielders in the 16U division and a key contributor to Gators Premier’s success.

The Tournament Performance Rankings represent just one of the many ways Extra Inning Softball highlights verified achievement throughout the travel softball season.
As additional events are evaluated and new recognition opportunities become available, athletes will continue to earn exposure through performance-based initiatives that celebrate consistency, competition, and measurable success.
On July 24, nominations will open for the Class of 2030 Regional and National Athlete Rankings, expanding the next generation of athlete evaluations and providing another opportunity for young players to earn verified regional and national recognition.
