Held June 19-21, 2026, the Sheer Madness College Showcase once again brought hundreds of talented athletes to Northeast Ohio for one of the region’s premier recruiting events.

Following another highly competitive weekend, Extra Inning Softball has released its Tournament Performance Rankings, recognizing athletes whose verified performances stood above the rest throughout the event. How Tournament Performance Rankings Work

Tournament Performance Rankings are designed to recognize athletes who performed at the highest level during a specific event using verified performance data rather than reputation alone.

Every athlete is evaluated through Extra Inning Softball’s proprietary SERV methodology, which combines software-driven organization, position-specific evaluation, research into competition level, and multiple verification checkpoints before rankings are finalized.

Tournament Performance Recognition

Athletes who earned a place on the Tournament Performance Rankings leaderboard have the opportunity to commemorate their accomplishment with an official custom recognition graphic from Extra Inning Softball.

12U Sheer Madness Showcase Champions

The Ohio Stingrays 12U claimed the 12U Sheer Madness College Showcase championship with a 2-1 victory over Ohio Lasers Rowland in the title game.

12U Top Performers

Ryleigh Hibbard turned in an exceptional weekend at the Sheer Madness College Showcase, earning No. 1 Overall Player, No. 1 Hitter, and No. 1 Outfielder honors in the 12U division.

The Class of 2032 standout consistently delivered at the plate while making a major impact defensively, helping lead the Ohio Hawks against strong competition throughout the tournament.

Hibbard credits her father, who also coaches her, for continually pushing her to stay confident and learn from every challenge. Despite being one of the youngest players on her team, she embraces a leadership role through her hustle, positive attitude, and encouragement of her teammates. Her biggest goal is to honor God, represent her family well, and continue growing into the best player she can be.

Audrey Frame earned No. 1 Infielder honors at the Sheer Madness College Showcase after putting together an outstanding all-around performance for Ohio Cobras 2013 Passwaiter.

The Class of 2031 standout showcased dependable defense and offensive consistency throughout the weekend, continuing a strong season highlighted by a .947 fielding percentage and 57 hits while proving to be a reliable contributor in big moments.

Frame credits her success to the confidence and support of Coach Megan Passwaiter, who has helped her grow both as a player and a teammate. Known for giving maximum effort every time she steps on the field, Audrey embraces pressure situations and leads through her work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

Emma Frazier earned No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors at the Sheer Madness College Showcase after delivering a dominant two-way performance for Ohio Lasers 2031 Rowland. The Class of 2031 standout made her presence felt both in the circle and at the plate, continuing a remarkable season that includes an ERA and WHIP under 1.00 while consistently rising to the occasion in championship-caliber competition.

Frazier credits her success to the guidance of pitching coach Sara Griffin-Webster, hitting coach Ali Viola, and head coach Jill Rowland, all of whom have helped shape her confidence and competitive mindset. Whether she’s working to perfect a new pitch, delivering in clutch moments, or supporting her teammates, Emma embraces every challenge with energy and determination. Her goal is simple: be the player her team can count on when the game is on the line.

14U Sheer Madness Showcase Champions

Charge Fastpitch 2011 captured the 14U Sheer Madness College Showcase championship with an impressive tournament run, showcasing consistent play, timely hitting, and strong team defense. Their ability to execute in key moments against quality competition earned them a well-deserved title and capped off an outstanding weekend in Northeast Ohio.

Loclyn Howard earned No. 1 Hitter honors at the Sheer Madness College Showcase after showcasing her power at the plate and dependable defense for Ohio Lasers 2030 Zedeker. The Class of 2030 standout continued an impressive season highlighted by three home runs, while making key defensive plays at first base and consistently contributing in high-pressure situations.

Howard credits coaches Brad and Clint for helping her grow both physically and mentally, encouraging her through challenges while pushing her to reach her potential. Known for her positive attitude and constant support of her teammates, Loclyn is driven by a passion for the game and a desire to compete at the collegiate level. Her leadership, work ethic, and commitment to continual improvement make her a cornerstone for her team.

Khloe Cook earned No. 1 Infielder honors at the Sheer Madness College Showcase after a standout weekend for Cincy Heat Fastpitch Cook. The Class of 2029 athlete showcased her versatility, defensive consistency, and offensive production, adding to an already impressive résumé that includes a career batting average above .400, a sub-3.00 ERA as a pitcher, and multiple MVP performances.

Cook credits Mount Notre Dame head coach Julie Joseforsky for helping elevate her game and prepare for the next level. A captain selected by her peers, Khloe leads through her work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to helping her teammates succeed as she pursues her goal of playing college softball.

16U Sheer Madness Showcase Champions

Firecrackers Smith MI 09 claimed the 16U Sheer Madness College Showcase championship with a dominant performance throughout the weekend. Their balanced offense, strong pitching, and consistent execution against top competition powered them to the title, capping off an outstanding run at one of the Midwest’s premier showcase events

Audrina Bucklin earned No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter honors at the Sheer Madness College Showcase after leading Firecrackers Smith MI 09 with standout performances both in the circle and at the plate. The Class of 2028 standout continued to build on an impressive résumé that includes multiple all-conference honors while helping her teams capture league, district, and regional championships.

Bucklin credits her father, who also coaches her at Coldwater High School, for instilling the values of discipline, resilience, and mental toughness that have shaped her game. Whether she’s competing alongside her sister or leading her teammates with energy and encouragement, Audrina embraces every opportunity to improve. Her consistent work ethic and ability to perform in big moments made her one of the top two-way players at the tournament.
