Recruiting: The Final 2020 Extra Elite 100 Rankings Starts Oct. 21!

The final 2020 Extra Elite 100 rankings kick off two weeks from Monday–starting on Monday, October 21, 2019 — and for three weeks will honor standout current seniors including the following:

• the 2020 Extra Elite 100 top-ranked prospects and where they’ll sign
• the players ranked #’s 101-500
• a spotlight on the top player in the 2020 class
• the final Top College Recruiting Rankings list which will reveal which DI programs had the highest-ranked classes!

This will be our final rankings for this class and will highlight where next year’s college freshman will be signing beginning on Nov. 13, 2019–the first day of the National Letter of Intent Signing Period.

To compile these rankings, we are contacting more than 250 club and college scouts and coaches nationwide.

Typically, as many as 50 percent of a previous class will be new player additions when updated.  That being said, here are some highlights of the previous 2020 Extra Elite 100:

• It contained two members of the U-19 Women’s National Team
• LSU had a whopping 7 recruits in the top 100
• Others with 5 or more: Arizona, Auburn, Georgia and Oregon
• Oklahoma had three players in the top 10 and four in the top 20
• 13 players were uncommitted in the last update
• 8 players have decommitted and/or switched colleges
• The A’s – Mercado organization, which had the most recent PGF 18U Premier Nationals champion, had 7 players represented as did the always-strong OC Batbusters-Stith team.
• The 2018 PGF 18U winners, Georgia Impact-Lewis, had 6
• The Firecrackers program had 13 players from four teams on the list to have the most from one program
• Other perennial powers, the Beverly Bandits had 8 players and the Texas Bombers had 7
