  • Alaina “Lou” Rollyson (2025, 2B/OF, has athleticism to burn. Her speed, competitive nature and personality make her a welcoming teammate and excellent softball player. She can be heard loud and clear in the dugout cheering during those close games)

Newcomers:

  • Ava Gundling (2026, P/3B/UT, selected to 2019 Nationals All-Star Team, brings a strong work ethic and plenty of skill to the team. She will provide solid pitching on the mound locating her pitches. Her glove and effort will be an asset wherever she plays on the field and her attitude will be a positive addition to the dugout. She has a strong bat and coachable demeanor)

What will it take for your team to be successful this year?
We are a close-knit team that gelled quickly with the newcomers. We need to continue to work hard in our off days and be more consistent in the batter’s box.

Who is your No. 1 pitcher and can you describe her skills? Who are the other pitchers on your staff and can you describe their skills?
McKayla McGee: #1 McKayla is a driven athlete that is focused on one thing … getting better every day. She is a hard-throwing pitcher with her fastball topping out right at 60 mph. She also had a great change-up, screwball and drop curve that she can throw in any count.

Mallory Pickering: #2 Mal is a hard-throwing pitcher topping out in the mid-50s. She also throws a change-up and drop. Ava Gundling: #3 Ava has good command of her fastball and change-up. Relies on control and changing speeds to be effective.

Can you describe your offense and what some of the strengths are?
Our offensive lineup has power and speed. Every player is ready to lay down the bunt when called upon.
