Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? My prior team split, so when looking for a new team I decided to join Universal Fastpitch. There they really honed in on my technical skills at shortstop. I’ve grown a lot through this program and I love how they play an active part in recruiting. Universal truly loves and cares for their players

Do you have any suggestions for training methods or apps and why? Whatever the workout is, the biggest key no matter what is consistency. Always mix in both agility and weightlifting and the cooling off part is just as important as warming up. Always, always, always stretch and roll out after a workout.

Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals this summer? PGF Nationals is my official start to the 18U program when I guest played for Universal. A lot of core memories. I made one of my favorite plays at second base where it was a sliding backhand to get fthe girl out at one. I loved the energy and fight of all my teammates. I still think about that tournament today.

What was your favorite fall tournament/event and why? I spent most of fall doing college visits so I was not at too many of the tournaments. However, out of all the ones I did play, my favorite was the Las Vegas Showcase where I came in clutch in the last inning with 2 outs and bases loaded, to hit a triple to bring in all the runs and give us the lead to eventually win the game.

Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? There was no one team in particular that stood out among the rest. This year, we’ve played a lot of talented teams, but just as they are, so are we. We play with heart and grit whenever we step foot on the field

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am still unsure, but I am exploring the medical field and business management.

Can you talk about why you chose to commit to Stanford? I just knew it was a fit for me during my visit. It was the fastest I ever clicked with the girls on the team. I loved what Coach (Jessica) Allister, Coach (Jessica) Merchant, and Coach (Tori) Nyberg had to say about them as a program and their values. I feel like they will help me grow both as a softball player and person. Stanford both fit my athletic and academic needs. Stanford softball looks very promising for these upcoming years.

Who is your sports hero and why? My favorite sports player is Shohei Ohtani. He is really making an impact on the game of baseball and breaking records both as a pitcher and hitter, which is unheard of. I also love seeing his passion for the game when he plays.

What’s the best hype song and why? A song that really gets me into my zone is “Start a Riot” by Duckwrth. It gives me that boost of energy and confidence whenever I listen to it

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? Currently, my favorite TV show is “Alice in Borderland” because I love the suspense and thrill of it all.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? Alongside softball, I enjoy dancing and acting.
