Travel Ball Fall Stats: .445 AVG, 11 RBIs, 15 runs and 9 SBs.
High School Stats: .570 AVG, 45 RBIs, 31 runs and 19 SBs.
Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? My travel ball team is Georgia Impact-Caymol and this fall was my first season with them. They won the PGF national championship this past summer. Coach Teo (Caymol) and Coach Mitch (Rood) reached out to me about joining their team this past September. It seemed like a great opportunity so I decided to join.
Do you have any suggestions for training methods or apps and why? The best training suggestion I have is to consistently work hard and get reps. Whatever skills you are trying to develop have to be honed by getting quality reps. I train with my dad and some with my older sisters.
Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals/Alliance Nationals this summer? During the Summer, I played for Team NC-Huss and we did not play in Alliance or PGF Nationals. I also was fortunate to be able to play with Team NC-Eaton in Boulder at the IDT and we won the 18U division.
What was your favorite fall tournament/event and why? My favorite fall tournament was PGF Show Me the Money. We played some good competition and that was when I started to feel more comfortable with my new team.
Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? The toughest opponent I’ve played was Georgia Impact-Sampson. They have a good, competitive team with great pitching.
What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am interested in majoring in marketing or public relations. I think I want to be a marketing manager because I like to figure things out and plan them. I really enjoy working with people to find the best possible solution.

Can you talk about why you chose to commit to North Carolina? I became familiar with UNC as my older sister, Caroline, is a freshman softball player there and I went up to visit her a few times this fall and fell in love with the campus. After I went on an unofficial visit to UNC, I knew it was where I wanted to be. The coaching staff has always been so kind and the environment they have created is one I want to be a part of. I can’t wait to be a Tar Heel!
Who is your sports hero and why? My sports hero is my oldest sister, Anna Fox. She played softball and graduated from the University of Tennessee in three years. She is now playing at Michigan State, while working on her master’s degree in public policy. She is one of the most hard-working and composed people I have ever met. She taught me to always give one hundred percent no matter what the circumstances.
What’s the best hype song and why? I think a good hype song is “Blessings” by Lecrae feat. Ty Dolla $ign. I like this song because it has a humbling message but also gives you confidence. I feel like this helps me play for God’s glory and not my own.
What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? My favorite TV show to binge is “Golden Girls” because I love comedy. It makes me laugh and always puts me in a good mood.
Do you have a secret talent/skill? I don’t think I have a secret talent or skill, but I do enjoy baking.
