One of the top summer club softball events will announce on Monday its roster of travel ball teams as the Top Gun Invitational Selection Show will be made live on the event’s Facebook page at 5 pm Mountain Time.
The reveal show—similar in format to the NCAA Men’s Basketball March Madness bracket broadcast—will run approximately a half hour and feature Robb Behymer, the Owner of Top Gun Events; Kayleigh Behymer, Operations Coordinator of Top Gun; and softball analyst Brentt Eads of Extra Inning Softball commenting on each age division and teams to watch.

The Top Gun Invitational runs June 15-18, 2023, in Kansas City and will feature over 280 teams from more than 30 different states. There will also be 107 different clubs vying for championships including two international squads from New Zealand.
The event has become a staple in the summer recruiting tour and in 2022 saw over 200 colleges and universities represented.
Another top stop for college coaches will be the TGI Prospect Camp to be held the day before the start of the Invitational—Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Instructors include coaches from top programs in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 as well as the NAIA and JC ranks.
Additionally, high school seniors competing in the Top Gun Invitational 18U division have the chance to apply for a $1,000 scholarship with four to be awarded to deserving high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding character, academics, and community development.
