What will it take for your team to be successful this season? We are returning all but one from last season, so the experience is all there. We will just need to continue to push ourselves to practice/play at a high level and COMPETE every day.
Who is your No. 1 pitcher and what can you tell me about her skills? Who else could see some time in the circle? Laney Roos has carried the pitching load the last three seasons and we are looking to her to have a great senior season. She hits her spots well and does a great job of mixing speeds/locations. Lauren Trott and Alyssa French will both see time in the circle as well.
What can we expect from your offense? This group is expected to hit for a lot of power and score a lot of runs this season. We are returning seven players, who all hit home runs for us last season and nine that finished the season hitting over .300.
Did you pick up any impact transfers or did you lose any players to transfers? No.
Who are the potential All-Section/All-District/All-State players on your team? Laney Roos is a three-time All-State player and we expect to get a few more on that list with her this season.
Signed and Committed Players: Laney Roos, LSU; Lexie Roos, Northwestern State; and Jessica Grimes, North Central Texas College.
