High School Highlights/Stats: 1.01 ERA, 159.1 innings with 212 strikeouts.
Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? My travel team is the best one I’ve ever been on, coach Brian (Jendro) and the other coaches know the game very well and they teach us everything they know.
What are some of your training methods/training routine? I pitch about five times a week and I do cardio workouts also five times a week.
What areas are you focusing on/trying to improve this fall? This fall, I’m trying to improve my pitching speed as well as my movement.

Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals this summer? At PGF this summer, I had a lot of fun not only playing against girls from other states, but meeting new girls as well.
Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? The toughest person I faced all year was during high school season. There was this senior lefty hitter, Ashley Hibbard, who all season long I was not able to strikeout. And ever since her first at bat, I made it my mission to strike her out, because she was one of the best hitters I had ever faced. It was very hard for me to reach my reach my goal, but at our last game against them, I finally struck her out.
Can you talk about your decision to commit to Fairleigh Dickinson? As soon as I stepped onto the campus, I loved it! I loved every aspect of the school, the environment and the atmosphere that the students created there was probably my favorite part. I also liked how I already know girls that go there, so it would make my transition into college a little bit easier.
What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I’m interested in studying psychology because I love trying to figure out why people act a certain way.
Who is your sports hero and why? I wouldn’t necessarily say I have a sports hero, but someone who I have looked up to would be Jennie Finch. Ever since I was little, I could see the way girls admired how good she was and how everyone wanted to be as good as her. But for me, I wanted to grow up and be a role model like her. I wanted to be good enough so that everyone would know who I was.
What’s the best hype song and why? “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus, because it reminds me of good memories and I know every word.
What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? My absolute favorite TV show would either have to be “NCIS” or “Criminal Minds.” It’s my favorite because I like being able to see how they solve the different crimes and the different steps that they take.
Do you have a secret talent/skill? A secret talent of mine would be I’m actually very good at cooking, and it’s one of my favorite things to do, aside from softball of course.
