PIRATES TO THE RESCUE

Hurricane Sally drenched parts of Florida with “four months of rain in four hours,” Ginny Cranor, chief of the Pensacola Fire Department, told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer last week. Needless to say it left much damage.

Obviously, Pensacola State’s softball team has been unable tp practice on its field, but that doesn’t mean the Pirates haven’t been busy.

“Just wanted to share something that I thought really shows how amazing these softball women are!!” VA Unity-Parker coach Jenny Buzzell-Parker told TLI via Twitter. “PSC can’t get on their field due to damage so the meet every morning and go into the community to help clean after hurricane Sally. Pretty good stuff!”
