WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW softball head coach Ashley Wade has unveiled a five-game fall schedule as the Seahawks prepare for the upcoming 2024 season.
UNCW will open the fall calendar at East Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 30. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Greenville, N.C., and the teams will play 10 innings.
The Seahawks will welcome Louisburg College to Wilmington for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, Oct. 13. Admission to Boseman Field is free and open to the public. There will be no stream or live stats.
The fall season concludes with a twinbill at teal rival Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m.
UNCW, who enters its second season under Wade, finished in second place in the Coastal Athletic Association with a program-best 17 conference wins last season. The Seahawks played to a 23-27 overall record in 2023 and return 17 players with 10 newcomers.
