Kaidance Till, one of the top prospects in the 2025 class, has already had an incredibly accomplished career… and she still has two years of high school and club ball left, but first she’s got an exciting Sept. 1st coming up. That’s because that date is when college coaches can first contact a prospective recruit and the standout infielder is on, let’s just say, more than a few lists.
At the high school level, she was named an Illinois Coaches Association 3A – 1st Team All-State selection this year and has been on Extra Inning’s All-Summer team (2021) and a two-time member of the 1st Team Extra Inning High School All-American squad.
A Power 5 recruit who will have her fair share of offers come September 1st, Kaidance helped lead her Metamora Township (Metamora, Ill.) High team to an Elite 8 finish earlier this year and to an Elite 8 finish, losing to eventual champ Lemont High.
Still, you have to be impressed with the incoming junior’s stats line on her way to becoming an Extra Inning Softball 1st Team All-American once again as she batted just a hair under .500 (.496) with a .560 on-base percentage, eight home runs and 45 runs scored.
After a stellar run in the Virginia Unity program, Kaidance is now playing in another prestigious club program, Tennessee Mojo, coached by Josh Fisher and Ramsey Harkness – a “super team” of top 2024’s and ’25 talent that was announced earlier this summer.
On Monday, Coaches Josh Fisher & Ramsey Harkness announced the roster for their new Tennessee Mojo – Ramsey/Fisher team filled with standout 2024's and 2025's.https://t.co/w14lv2ZJm6 pic.twitter.com/t4LRK1Y6Ns

For the second year in a row, Kaidance was also was a Top 15 honoree in the 2025 Extra Elite 100 rankings and we caught up with the Midwest lefty talent recently to see what she’s thinking entering her junior year of high school….

Extra Inning Softball: First, congrats on your summer and all you accomplished… what would you say were your top 3 favorite moments?
Kaidance Till: I would say the three would be: 1. winning Triple Crown Nationals, 2. winning 32 games in a row and 3. winning Colorado.

EIS: You’ve changing club teams and are now on the Powerful Mojo – Fisher/Harkness 18U team… thoughts?
KT: I loved getting the opportunity to play for a team like this. I loved all the girls on my team. I’m definitely going to miss them, and I thank Jay, Tommy, and Josh for coaching me and giving me this opportunity. Now I’m looking forward to a new opportunity and new challenges
EIS: What led to making the switch?
KT: I will always be grateful for my time playing on Unity – Johnson/Ross and getting the opportunity to compete and play with some of the best players in the entire country. I learned a lot about myself as a player and person that I look to continue to develop throughout my career.
Sometimes things happen and changes have to be made and I’m just trying to focus on the new opportunity and challenges in front of me. Our team’s ability to come together and play for each other is what made us successful. Now I’m just looking forward to building new relationships with my new teammates and coaches.
EIS: You had in impressive summer… where do you think you improved in your game?
KT: I definitely improved in the hitting standpoint. I really focused in the off-season on working to get my pitch and slowing myself down so I can be more consistent during my at-bats. Also, I worked on learning how to be myself and get the most out of myself day in and day out so I can help my team win… that was also something I took a lot of pride in this season.
EIS: And where would you like to keep working to improve?
KT: My defense. This summer was my second year playing third base and I got a ton of opportunities playing there, so I’d like to continue to get more comfortable and consistent there like I am at second base and shortstop.
EIS: In all your games this summer, who would you say impressed you?
KT: Personally, I thought we were the best team on the field every time.
The players who stood out to me most are some of my former teammates including Alexia Carrasquillo. Her work ethic, leadership, and passion for the game is unmatched. She’s the person you know has your back and will be cheering you on no matter the circumstance.
All of my teammates are amazing players and people all on one and I can’t wait to see where the future and their potential takes them.
EIS: Where are you in the recruiting process? Did you have a chance to go to camps or visit any colleges this summer?
KT: With the busy summer schedule I had, I wasn’t able to go to any camps, but I’m definitely ready for September 1st!
EIS: Who’s contacted you to express an interest?
KT: Without revealing too much, I’ve had interest from several Power 5 schools.
EIS: What’s something unusual or different about you that most people don’t know?
KT: I used to take singing lessons and wanted to be a singer.
