Last November, when Extra Inning Softball previewed this year’s Patriot Games, Event Director David McCorkle accurately predicted that the event with its top-notch field of teams would continue to grow each year:
“As more fields become available,” McCorkle predicted, “we look to increase the number of programs that will be invited. There are a lot of organizations that are excited to get the training and top competition in all at the same time.”
That prediction has become reality as the first year of the Patriot Games (this summer) saw 16 organizations send their top 18U, 16U and 14U teams and, in 2024, the event will see an increase to 20 nationally prestigious organizations.
Prospect Wire Fastpitch has announced the finalized dates, location and tournament field for the 2024 Patriot Games: Thurs. June 27 through Sat. June 29, 2024, in Windsor, Colorado at the Future Legends Complex.
The Patriot Games blends organizational workouts each morning along with Data Capture for all players utilizing the power of Yakkertech and SoftballCloud.
Games take place in the afternoon and culminate with single elimination championship play on Saturday, the final day. The 2024 event will also see the crowning of an organization champion based on points accumulated by each team’s finish in its respective age division.
