“Fastpitch U is made up of determined athletes who want to compete at a very high level of softball,” Coach Berrios stated.
“Putting this club together was about meshing the right players with the right attitude, to compete on a higher level beyond their college season.
This is an exciting challenge to get the team together, build great memories and instill a family environment.”
The league opens up its season on June 18 and will feature a 24+ game schedule stretching over five weeks.
“The league will offer the platform for college softball players to recognize their game and to help grow softball beyond their regular season,” continued Coach Berrios. “Any time you can meet new coaches and new teammates to share information, it can only be a positive influence for everyone involved. This summer league will be very exciting will give memories to last a lifetime.”
The FGCL will open its summer season June 18 and will offer the athletes an extensive playing and training opportunity. With the disruption of the 2020 spring season, the FGCL hopes to provide the athletes the ability to grow their game.
