Extra Inning Softball’s Top 75 College Recruiting Rankings (Class of 2021)

After three weeks of covering the top prospects in the Class of 2021, including the 2021 Extra Elite 100, we finish our lists with a look at which college programs did the best in getting commits from the senior class.

Regarding our exclusive Point system, we use a mathematical formula calculating where the players are ranked in the Extra Elite 100 and Top 200 to give an overall point total.

Why 200? We have found over time (looking back over a decade-plus) the top 200 tend to be the most accurate in predicting future success and who will be the most impactful.

Note that bigger classes with a higher number of top 100 players will get the most points, also based on high how the athletes are ranked. Remember, too, that some programs are getting players through transfers (i.e. the Transfer Portal as well as JC transfers).
