Tournament Performance Rankings: Hawaiian College Showcase
The 3rd Annual Hawaiian College Showcase and Camp once again delivered a memorable week of softball, bringing together athletes from Hawaii and across the U.S. mainland for five days of instruction, competition, and national exposure.
Hosted at Sand Island Park in Honolulu under the direction of tournament director Dale Palmer, the event continued to showcase why it has become one of the country’s most unique destinations for player development.
Throughout the showcase, athletes received hands-on instruction from college coaches before putting their skills to the test in live competition. Extra Inning Softball was on site to evaluate performances using its verified Tournament Performance Rankings system, recognizing athletes who consistently impacted games through performance, leadership, and competitiveness.
Unlike traditional rankings that rely solely on statistics, Tournament Performance Rankings utilize the proprietary SERV methodology—Software, Evaluate, Research, and Verify—to recognize athletes whose complete body of work stands out throughout the tournament.

How Tournament Performance Rankings Work
Extra Inning Softball’s Tournament Performance Rankings are built around the organization’s proprietary SERV evaluation model, providing athletes with a verified, performance-based assessment of their tournament play.
- S – Software: Advanced technology captures game statistics, tournament data, and position-specific metrics.
- E – Evaluate: Analysts assess offensive production, defensive performance, pitching effectiveness, leadership, and overall impact on the game.
- R – Research: Tournament performances are reviewed alongside consistency, level of competition, and historical production to provide additional context.
- V – Verify: Every evaluation is carefully reviewed to ensure accuracy, credibility, and competitive integrity before rankings are finalized.
Unlike rankings based solely on statistics or reputation, Tournament Performance Rankings recognize athletes for what they actually accomplished on the field. Leaving It All on the Field: Jayla Page
Versatility has become one of Jayla Page’s greatest strengths, and it was on full display throughout the Hawaiian College Showcase.
The Class of 2027 standout from Southern Force National 16U – Palmer earned recognition as one of the tournament’s top performers and was named the #1 Overall Player at the Hawaiian College Showcase, after making an impact as a catcher, third baseman, and utility player. Already committed to the University of Evansville, Page showcased the consistency, leadership, and competitive drive that continue to separate her on the national stage.
Her approach to the game is guided by a simple motto:
“Leave it all out on the field.”
That mindset has fueled some unforgettable moments throughout her career, including a dramatic walk-off home run that propelled Green Hill High School into the Tennessee Sub-State round. Yet one of the plays she remembers most wasn’t at the plate—it was a full-extension diving catch in right field that kept the winning run from advancing.
“I always think about that catch because it reminds me that you don’t have to be on ESPN to make a great play,” Page said. “Giving everything you have every pitch is what matters.”
Off the field, Page believes leadership begins by making every teammate feel welcomed and included. She intentionally reaches out to new players, helping build confidence and team chemistry long before the first pitch. She credits Green Hill High School head coach Savannah Sanders for helping shape both her character and her game, teaching her the importance of grit, integrity, and becoming the best version of herself on and off the field.
The Hawaiian College Showcase also marked Page’s first experience with Extra Inning Softball, making the week even more memorable.
“I had never put myself in a position to receive this kind of national recognition before,” Page said. “Getting interviewed, participating in the social media videos, and being recognized through the Tournament Performance Rankings made the entire experience incredibly special.”
Her performance in Honolulu reflected exactly what the Tournament Performance Rankings are designed to recognize, an athlete who competes with consistency, embraces every challenge, leads by example, and leaves a lasting impact every time she steps onto the field.

Commanding the Circle: Baileigh-Ann Aldosa-Kalaola
Representing Hawaii carries special meaning for Baileigh-Ann Aldosa-Kalaola, and she embraces every opportunity to showcase the talent that exists on the islands.
The Class of 2027 standout from Team Hawaii earned recognition as one of the tournament’s top performers and was named the #1 Overall Pitcher of the Hawaiian College ShowcaseTournament Performance Rankings.
Still uncommitted, Aldosa-Kalaola impressed evaluators with her versatility as both a pitcher and corner infielder, combining competitive fire, composure, and leadership throughout the week.
One of her proudest softball accomplishments came in an 8-0 semifinal shutout victory, where she recorded five strikeouts to help propel her team forward. At the plate, she has also proven she can change a game in an instant. She still looks back on a rivalry matchup during the high school season in which she blasted two home runs—including a grand slam—and added a run-scoring triple in one unforgettable performance.
Her personal motto says everything about how she approaches the game:
“It only takes one. One hit. One run. One drive. One dream.”
That mindset extends beyond the field. Aldosa-Kalaola believes leadership means encouraging teammates, leading by example, and maintaining composure during difficult moments. She credits Team Hawaii coaches Kenny Naehu, Shane, Ho’o, and Tony with helping restore her confidence while teaching her how to turn adversity into motivation.
Proud of her Hawaiian heritage, her walk-up song, “Born and Raised” by Bo Napoleon reflects her roots and reminds her to embrace what makes her unique. When she’s not competing, you’ll often find her relaxing in the sun with country music playing before first pitch, helping clear her mind before taking the field.
The Hawaiian College Showcase also introduced her to Extra Inning Softball’s national platform.
“It was fun to have friendly competition through the rankings,” Aldosa-Kalaola said. “It brought back some confidence in myself and made the experience even more exciting.”
Her performance in Honolulu reflected exactly what Tournament Performance Rankings are designed to recognize an athlete who consistently delivered under pressure and finished the showcase as the #1 Overall Pitcher while leaving a lasting impact throughout the weekend.

Coming later this summer, nominations will open for the Class of 2030 Regional and National Athlete Rankings on July 24th, marking the first-ever rankings for this graduating class. Along with Tournament Performance Rankings, athlete watchlists, and featured player spotlights, Extra Inning Softball remains committed to connecting talented athletes with college coaches while celebrating the performances that define the future of fastpitch softball.
