In December of last year, Anistyn Foster, a right-handed pitcher from Bullard, Texas, was involved in a terrible car accident that almost ended her softball career.
“Some people believed I would never pitch again, much less play at the collegiate level,” shared the athlete. “By God’s grace, I was not only able to defy the odds, but I was able to commit to play D1 softball. So, needless to say, this is more than a scholarship to me. This is a blessing from a tragedy.”
On September 23rd, Anistyn accepted an offer from The University of Delaware’s Head Coach Jen Steele while visiting the Newark campus for an official visit.
