To give you an idea of what others have written, here are some samples from current college players who previously sent in Mother’s Day tributes:
Thank you for the countless sacrifices you have made for our family. You taught me life lessons that I will never forget.
You are the rock of our family and I would not be the player and person I am today with out you. Everything you do for me never goes unnoticed. I love you!

On Mother’s Day (2018) I want to celebrate all the Mothers who raise their daughters to be strong, especially my Mom.
I was raised to not only be strong, but be strong as a woman. The reality that females are as strong as any man and can accomplish anything they work for in life was taught to me by watching my Mom.
There is hardly a day that goes by where I do not get a quote or text from her that inspires me every day, to be the best softball player, student, and person I can be.
Strength is just one of the hundreds of valuable lessons she has taught me over the years.
Thank you Mom for always leading by example in who I strive to be. I hope to use all you have taught me in life and someday be half the woman you are.

Since I was nine-years old and started softball my mom has supported me 100 percent.
From washing uniforms to serving as my cheerleader, team mom, team cook, water girl and bus driver, she does it all with a smile on her face.
She has put what’s important to her second, so I can live out this dream of playing softball.
Happy Mother’s Day (2018) to my #1 fan… I love you!

Happy Mother’s Day Mom!
My mom is awesome! My mom spends every second she is not taking care of others at the hospital, to plan her work schedule so she can come watch me play.
Last year on Mother’s Day, she couldn’t be with me and I was only able to send her this picture of me holding a flower for her after the tournament was over.
This year (2018) we will be together while I play in the Tarheel Classic.
She is a great mom, so supportive and she teaches me many lessons about hard work and sacrifice.
I’m so glad she can spend this Mother’s Day with me and I’ll know exactly where to find her in your favorite place on the bleachers!
Happy Mother’s Day! I love you!

I would like to thank my mom for everything that she has sacrificed for me over the last 18 years.
From traveling all over the United States to buying anything and everything softball related. With everything going on in our world, she still finds a way to make every day special. I truly wouldn’t be who I am today without her.
She’s my rock and I’m thankful every day that she is my mom.

My mom is important to me because she is always there for me.
She is the most caring person I know and she always finds a way to help people.
She makes me feel special because even after my bad games, she gets me food…
… GREAT food!
My mom also makes me feel confident all the time, no matter the situation.

Not everyone can say their mom is also their coach—in this case I can. Both on and off the field, my mom has been by my side cheering me on nonstop. I cannot thank her enough for all of the long trips and money spent to get me where I am today.
Through all of the tough times, my mom has always stayed positive and has never let anything bring her down. That is one of the many things that I admire the most about her.
As I continue my journey as a young woman, I strive to be as strong and confident as my mom.
Happy Mother’s Day mom, I love you.

My mom has been my #1 fan and catcher since the day I picked up a softball. I would not be the person or athlete I am today without her.
She drives hours just for me to get the instruction I need or will get on any plane ride to come watch me play.
My mom will still catch me every single day no matter how many bruises my drop ball may give her!
I could not be more appreciative of her support that she continues to give me every day. She is my best friend, my catcher and my #1 supporter in not just softball but in life!
Thank you, Mom, for everything you do. You continue to make me a better person every day! Have a great Mother’s Day you deserve it!
