PGF All-American Game: Regional Finalists Announced for This Summer’s Contest

One of the top fastpitch club events of the year is the PGF All-American Game annually held at Bill Barber Park in Irvine, California.

Many of the greats in the college game have played in the event which began in 2016 and to even be considered is a huge honor. The game features East and West teams and the Regional Finalists have been announced who will be chosen to make up will be the basis for the two competiting squads.

Below are the 2021 grads (seniors) who are in consideration to compete in the game. Each Regional Senior All-American Team will consist of 20 players.

The coaches have been announced and include some of the biggest names in softball: Natasha Watlery, Crystal Bustos, Suzy Brazney, Jennie Finch, Lovieanne Jung and Tony Mascarenas.

PGF was founded in 2009 and today crowns the unquestioned national champion across nine age divisions. In 2019, 635 teams competed across those age groups, with the 17-day event held across parks in Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley and Irvine, California.

Thousands of female student athletes have realized their dreams to play on the college level by performing with top-level competition in front of college recruiters. PGF produces hundreds of tournaments and showcases each year across the country, including the PGF High School All-American Game, considered the highest individual honor in youth Fastpitch softball. #playPGF
