National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) announced this week its 18-member All-Decade Team as selected by fans on social media.
The NPF began the voting process on December 19, 2019 and voters select players by positions including one each at first base, second base, shortstop, third base and catcher; three in the outfield; four at pitcher and five “at-large” spots for about a week.
The team was announced New Year’s Eve and consists of some of the greats in faspitch softball history including three of the pitchers who will compete for Team USA in this summer’s Tokyo Olympic Games: Monica Abbott, Cat Osterman and Keilani Ricketts:
