Pro News: Florida Vibe Adds Sixth Player, Former South Carolina All-American Infielder Mackenzie Boesel

The Florida Vibe professional fastpitch organization, which completed its second season in 2021, announced in August the formation of its own pro team and on Friday released news of the first middle infielder added: Mackenzie Boesel, an All-American player and graduate of the University of South Carolina.

“I’m so grateful and excited for this opportunity to play with the Vibe,” stated Boesel. “I love what the Vibe staff is doing to promote the sport of softball.”

Boesel has many honors from her time as a Gamecock. She is the career record holder at South Carolina for home runs, doubles, walks, on-base percentage (tied for first) and assists by a second baseman.
