Tennessee Mojo announces a leadership transition within its 18U program, marking a pivotal moment for one of the nation’s premier organizations. This decision comes with respect to past contributions, while also reflecting a clear and intentional focus on alignment, stability, and the continued development of its athletes.Â
Tennessee Mojo’s StatementÂ
As the organization moves forward, Tennessee Mojo leadership has outlined several key points to provide clarity and context surrounding this transition:Â
Gratitude for Contributions: Tennessee Mojo is genuinely grateful for Coach Josh Fisher’s years of service. His competitive spirit and contributions helped shape a winning culture that continues to define how our organization is perceived on the national stage. That legacy is not lost.Â
Organizational Communication: Coach Fisher was an original member of our organizational board and was given every opportunity to engage in the direction and growth of Tennessee Mojo. Regrettably, he chose not to participate in that process, and communication between Coach Fisher and our leadership committee had been largely absent for the past two years.Â
Organizational Investment:Â For the past three seasons, Tennessee Mojo has fully sponsored the 18U program. Uniforms, equipment, tournament entry fees, coach travel, lodging, and additional coaching resources have all been covered by the organization.
The young women on this roster have never been asked to contribute organizational dues. Our commitment to these athletes has been — and will remain — unwavering.Â
A Pattern of Inconsistency: Coach Fisher formally resigned from his coaching duties with Tennessee Mojo in October 2024, only to return shortly thereafter. This was not an isolated event. Over time, our organization experienced a recurring pattern of uncertainty regarding his long-term commitment — a dynamic that ultimately made sustained stability difficult to maintain.Â
Prioritizing Athlete Development: The transition reflects a deliberate and thoughtful decision to prioritize the development and long-term success of our athletes. Coach Ramsey Harkness is committed to bringing in consistent, development-focused leadership that fully aligns with the values and vision Tennessee Mojo has worked hard to build. We fully support that direction.Â
The young women who wear the Mojo name work too hard, and the families who trust this organization sacrifice too much, for anything less. We remain focused on our mission, our athletes, and the bright future ahead — and we will continue to hold ourselves, and those who cover us, to the highest standard.Â

Looking Forward Â
Tennessee Mojo remains firmly committed to the standard that has defined its rise on the national stage—elite development, organizational integrity, and unwavering support of its athletes. While transitions can be difficult, they also present an opportunity to reinforce direction and strengthen the foundation moving forward.Â
With a renewed emphasis on consistency, communication, and long-term alignment, Tennessee Mojo is confident in its path ahead and fully committed to providing an environment where its athletes can continue to thrive, compete, and succeed at the highest level.Â
