Tell us about the Sorcerer organization and how you became involved with them?
I joined the team in first year 14U, played two years at that level, then moved to 18U Gold. I love the Sorcerer organization. We have cool coaches and they really help us get better.
What do you bring to the team?
I’m competitive and try to be a leader because I know as a catcher, my position is important. Myself and my teammates are counted on to drive in runs. We try to have as much fun while doing it as possible!
What have you been focusing on/trying to improve this summer?
Becoming even more vocal on the field and trying to balance being competitive while having fun.
Can you tell us about PGF Nationals and what you hope to achieve at the event?
We just want to win and enjoy our time there.
What is something you have faced in your life that has helped you become the person that you are today?
I wasn’t always a good player and I had to work very hard, fail a lot and sacrifice when I was younger to learn lessons that help me now. My parents and I used to drive from NorCal to SoCal every weekend to play on a travel ball team down South when I was 12. It was hard, but I knew then that I loved to play.
