Following an outstanding weekend at the Utah Summer Games, held June 4-6, 2026, in Cedar City, Utah, and hosted by D1 Prospects, Extra Inning Softball is proud to announce the latest Tournament Performance Rankings.
The event brought together top teams from across Utah and the surrounding region, with athletes competing throughout the weekend for championships while showcasing their skills against quality competition, providing a competitive stage for players to showcase their skills while earning verified national recognition through Extra Inning Softball’s Tournament Performance Rankings.

From standout pitching performances to explosive offensive production, the Utah Summer Games featured exceptional talent throughout the weekend.

Extra Inning Softball is proud to recognize the Tournament Performance Rankings leaders from the Utah Summer Games after a weekend filled with outstanding performances in Cedar City.
Once all athlete submissions were reviewed, evaluated, and verified through the Tournament Performance Rankings process, the top overall performer in each age division earned the highest honor for her exceptional play and impact throughout the event.

12U Utah Summer Games Champions

Premier Fastpitch 12U capped off an impressive weekend in Cedar City by capturing the Utah Summer Games 12U championship. Their championship run was fueled by strong team play and standout individual performances, with several athletes earning recognition in the Extra Inning Softball Tournament Performance Rankings.
12U Utah Summer Games Standouts

Layla Harley of Premier Fastpitch 12U delivered a standout performance at the Utah Summer Games, earning No. 1 Overall Player, No. 1 Hitter, and No. 1 Infielder honors in the 12U division. After an exceptional all-around weekend. The rising talent consistently made her presence felt on both sides of the game, showcasing elite bat-to-ball skills along with strong, reliable defense in the infield.
Equally impactful off the field, Harley brings energy, positivity, and a fun-loving personality that elevates everyone around her. A true multi-sport athlete, she also competes in soccer and basketball, plays the viola, and enjoys travel, beach trips, animals, makeup, anime, and making people laugh. Making her one of the most dynamic and well-rounded young athletes in the 12U division.


Miranda Austin of Premier Fastpitch 12U turned in one of the most impressive all-around performances of the Utah Summer Games, earning the No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter distinction in the 12U division.
A Class of 2031 athlete, Austin showcased her versatility by commanding the circle with movement pitches and pinpoint accuracy while consistently producing at the plate against quality competition.
The talented two-way player also brings leadership and mental toughness to every game, leading by example with her work ethic and positive attitude. Whether making plays in the middle infield or delivering in pressure situations, Austin continues to establish herself as one of the top young athletes to watch in the 12U Rising Stars division.

Adriana Ramirez of GJ Rox 12U earned the No. 1 Catcher ranking at the Utah Summer Games after showcasing her ability to make an impact on both sides of the ball. A Class of 2032 standout from Grand Junction, Colorado, Ramirez demonstrated the defensive skills that have become her trademark, highlighted by her ability to throw out runners while also providing consistent production at the plate.
Behind the dish, Ramirez combines leadership, confidence, and a positive mindset that helps elevate those around her. Her disciplined approach, steady defensive play, and commitment to improving every day made her a deserving selection as the tournament’s top-ranked catcher in the 12U division

McKynlee Terry of Utah Core Athletics earned recognition as the No. 1 Outfielder after an impressive showing at the Utah Summer Games. The standout defender consistently covered ground in the outfield, making key plays and showcasing strong instincts, speed, and reliable glove work throughout the weekend.
Terry’s ability to track down balls in the gaps and execute under pressure made her a difference-maker for her team. With her steady defensive presence and growing all-around game, she continues to establish herself as one of the top young outfielders in her division.

14U Utah Summer Games Champions

The Synergy Outlaws claimed the 14U championship at the Utah Summer Games after putting together an outstanding weekend of competition in Cedar City. Their consistent play, timely offense, and strong defense helped power a championship run, while several athletes earned recognition in the Extra Inning Softball Tournament Performance Rankings
14U Utah Summer Games Standouts

Malia Boshoff of the Synergy Outlaws earned recognition as the No. 1 Overall Player and No. 1 Infielder for the 14U division. After continuing a highly productive high school career at Cedar High School. Across her varsity seasons, Boshoff has been a consistent offensive force, posting a career .351 batting average with 72 hits, 59 RBIs, and 7 home runs while also generating extra-base production and run-scoring impact year over year.
A steady presence in the infield, Boshoff combines reliability on defense with advanced offensive consistency, highlighted by multiple seasons of .300+ hitting and strong run production in key situations. Her ability to deliver at the plate while anchoring the infield made her one of the most complete performers at the Utah Summer Games and a clear selection as the event’s top overall standout.


Olive Harris of the Salem Hawks earned the No. 1 Pitcher/Hitter ranking in the 14U division after delivering an exceptional two-way performance at the Utah Summer Games. The Class of 2030 standout showcased her ability to dominate in the circle while also producing at the plate, helping lead her team through a highly competitive weekend.
Harris is known for her relentless work ethic and positive leadership, always encouraging teammates no matter the situation. A fun fact about the rising star: her walk-up song is “Back in Black“ by AC/DC, inspired by her love of Marvel movies, where the song is featured in Iron Man. Away from the field, she also enjoys volleyball, reading, writing, and drawing, making her one of the most well-rounded athletes in the 14U division.

Madison Quintanilla of SU Savage earned recognition as the No. 1 Catcher in the 14U division for SU Savage after a strong showing at the Utah Summer Games, showcasing her leadership behind the plate, defensive consistency, and ability to control the game from the catcher position. The standout performer continues to establish herself as a key presence both defensively and offensively in high-level competition.
Off the field, Quintanilla also brings a strong academic profile, holding a 4.0 GPA while taking Honors Math and CAD Architectural Design at SUU. A freshman at Canyon View High School in Cedar City, Utah, she pairs classroom excellence with competitive drive on the field, making her one of the most well-rounded young athletes in the 14U division.

Taelynn Peake of the Flyers claimed the No. 1 Outfielder ranking in the 14U division after an outstanding showing at the Utah Summer Games. The Class of 2030 athlete showcased her athleticism throughout the weekend, pairing elite speed with consistent offensive production.
Peake has posted an impressive .586 batting average, .629 on-base percentage, more than 20 RBIs, and nine over-the-fence home runs this season.
A dynamic playmaker in the outfield, Peake is driven by her motto, “Control what you can control,” and backs it up with extra work outside of practice. One of her favorite softball memories is making a championship-saving diving catch in the outfield, a play that exemplifies the hustle, resilience, and game-changing ability that earned her the tournament’s top outfield honor.


Tenley Thomas of the Flyers earned the No. 1 Hitter ranking in the 14U division after an incredible offensive performance at the Utah Summer Games. The Class of 2030 standout was nearly unstoppable at the plate, finishing the event with an impressive .889 batting average while not recording a single strikeout, making her one of the tournament’s most dangerous offensive threats.
Beyond her production at the plate, Thomas is known for her relentless effort and team-first mentality. Whether making diving plays in the outfield or in the middle infield, she embraces every opportunity to impact the game.
Her consistent approach, positive attitude, and commitment to reaching her full potential made her a deserving selection as the tournament’s top hitter.

More Opportunities Are on the Horizon
The Tournament Performance Rankings are just one of many ways Extra Inning Softball is helping athletes earn national recognition. As the season continues, additional opportunities for exposure are already underway.
Rising Stars Futures Watchlist nominations for the Classes of 2031 through 2034 remain open through June 30, with coaches and parents invited to submit athletes for evaluation and placement on the national leaderboard.

Later this summer, Extra Inning Softball will open nominations for the Class of 2030 Regional and National Athlete Rankings, continuing its mission to recognize standout talent across every stage of the game. From rankings and watchlists to exclusive athlete features and Tournament Performance Rankings, Extra Inning Softball remains committed to providing meaningful exposure that helps athletes gain visibility with college coaches and the softball community.
