Mother Nature tried really hard Tuesday evening to postpone or even cancel the final game of the six-game series between the USA Softball Women’s National Team and Scrap Yard Fast Pitch, but after more than an hour delay, the contest begin.
Some of the top pitchers in the world took the field for the finale which saw Team USA ahead 3-2 in the series prior to the game.
Monica Abbott and Cat Osterman threw for the visitors and Alexis Silkwood and Cheridan Hawkins were among those who represented the home team.
