As we get ready to rank the Extra Elite Eighty 14U teams starting on Monday, we see that there are many strong first-year 14U teams including Tennessee Mojo – Danley—which won PGF 12U Nationals last summer—as well as Athletics Mercado 2023, OC Batbusters – Campbell, Arizona Storm – Appel, and the team we’re spotlighting today, OC Firecrackers – Holcomb/Knight.
Ted Holcomb, whose daughter Jenna Holcomb is a standout slapper for the Tennessee Vols, is a co-head coach along with Gregg Knight, for the squad based out of Los Alamitos, California.
