Do you know who has the most wins in the history of the NCAA DI softball tournament? And who has the most victories in Women’s College World Series history?
Greg Harvey does.
The fourth-year college student at the University of South Florida is pursuing a degree in Business Analytics & Information Systems and loves to create moving timeline graphics (technically called “bar chart race graphics”) that show how things evolve over time.
Below you’ll see two college softball-related examples as Greg walks us through which DI college softball programs had the most wins in NCAA tournament history as well as and in the Women’s College World Series… and how it came to be this way over the years!

Greg explains about how he came to do these moving graphics and his interest in softball :
“It started out as something for fun but is now part of the content that I’m creating as part of my internship,” he says. “I have always paid attention to softball a little bit because my school’s team has always been pretty good (USF).”
“I also was doing it because BaseballCloud also has a page for softball (@SoftballCloudUS) and I felt it was important to do stuff for the sport. I feel as though it would help with more exposure on the sport. The women who play softball deserve more exposure so I hoped my graphics would help with that.”
