Many of the top 14U teams in the nation went to Chino Hills, CA, this week for the Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series 2. The teams got down to the Sweet 16 after Super Regional action. Here are some of Thursday’s highlights (All Rankings Extra Elite Eighty Club Rankings):

#77 Texas Glory Naudin knocked off #4 Corona Angels-Tyson, 1-0, and Bombers Gold HTX National-Whiddon, 4-0, to earn a spot in the Sweet 16. 2026 P Madelyn “Madi” Doty pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts, 2025 P/OF Maggie Olsen had a double and a run and 2025 RHP/OF/MIF Timber Ensley had an RBI single to help Texas Glory Naudin beat the Corona Angels. 2026 P Abby Atkinson pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts in the win over Bombers HTX Gold National. …
#3 Athletics Mercado 2025-Tidd picked up a 21-1 wun over Corona Angels-Martinez and a 3-0 victory over #32 Starz Gold National-Bunn. 2025 CF Taelyn Anne Holley went 4 for 4 with three runs and three RBIs against the Corona Angels and Mia Valbuena pitched a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts to beat Starz Gold. …
#14 OC Batbusters-K. Stith beat #74 Texas Blaze United-L. Robertson, 3-0, and #43 Fury Platinum X-Felton, 5-1. 2025 P Paityn Lavin pitched a three-hitter with three strikeouts to lead the Batbusters past Blaze United and she pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts to beat Fury Platinum X. …
#24 Tampa Mustangs 2025-Viruet defeated Texas Glory Naudin 07 South, 7-0, and #41 Athletics Mercado 08-Berni, 8-2, to earn a spot in the Sweet 16. 2025 RHP Sophia Bertorelli pitched a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts in 7.0 innings against Texas Glory. 2026 SS Anabela Abdullah went 2 for 2 with with two runs and three RBIs in the win over the Athletics. …
