ICYMI: USA Softball Adds to 2023 Hall of Fame Complex Event Schedule

The 2023 USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex schedule has grown, as announced earlier this week.

Additional events have been added to the 2023 USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex schedule, providing fans with the opportunity to experience the highest levels of the game at the Softball Capital of the World® across an eight-month span.

Joining the previously announced event lineup (see original January 12, 2023 announcement below) will be one of college softball’s most anticipated rivalries featuring a solo contest between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns in addition to a series of professional softball competitions featuring WPF’s OKC Spark.

Red River Rivalry

Slated for Friday, March 31, the Red River Rivalry will bring the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas to Oklahoma City for a 6 p.m. CT solo matchup on OGE Energy Field, where the Sooners last prevailed over the Longhorns to earn the 2022 NCAA National Championship title.

The contest will be a part of a three-game series with the additional two matchups held at Marita Hynes Field in Norman on Saturday (11 a.m. CT) and Sunday (2 p.m. CT). Tickets went on sale via SoonerSports.com/tickets and through the OU Athletics Ticket Office on Friday, February 10.

OKC Spark
Keilani Ricketts

Making its debut at the Softball Capital of the World®, the OKC Spark will showcase 12 matchups throughout the months of July and early August with contests featuring Texas WPF, Vipers and USSSA Pride.

A member of the WPF (Women’s Professional Fastpitch), the OKC Spark will feature familiar names on the roster including Olympic silver medalist Michelle Moultrie, 2022 Women’s National Team member Jocelyn Alo and former Team USA standout Keilani Ricketts.
