What Are Tournament Performance Rankings?

Extra Inning Softball’s Tournament Performance Rankings (TPR) program is completely free and provides athletes with an opportunity to earn verified national recognition based on their performance during competition.

Following each participating event, athletes or parents may submit tournament statistics through the official Tournament Performance Rankings submission form within three days of the event’s conclusion.

To maintain the integrity and accuracy of the rankings, all submissions require supporting documentation in the form of a screenshot verifying the athlete’s tournament statistics. The submission process takes only a few minutes and helps ensure that every ranking is backed by verified performance data.

The Tournament Performance Rankings system utilizes Extra Inning Softball’s proprietary SERV methodology, which evaluates athletes using position-specific metrics, offensive production, defensive impact, and overall tournament performance.

Top performers are featured on national leaderboards published across the Extra Inning Softball platform, providing exposure to a nationwide audience that includes athletes, families, travel ball organizations, and college coaches.

With more than 15.7 million annual organic impressions, the platform continues to create meaningful visibility opportunities for players at every level of the game.

Athletes and families can also view Tournament Performance Rankings interviews and player spotlights through the Extra Inning Softball Video Hub.
