Tampa Mustangs-Maguire 2021 C/UT Giulia Desiderio, who has developed a reputation as one of the top catchers in the nation, verballed to South Carolina on Tuesday.
“I wanted to stay close to home,” Desiderio said, “but I felt South Carolina was definitely worth it.”

Desiderio batted over .500 for her high school team and she helped the Tampa Mustangs win a PGF Platinum 16U national championship in 2018.
