Top performers of the 2022 USA Softball High Performance Program (HPP) National Selection Event, presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods, were officially unveiled on Friday (Dec. 9, 2022), naming top-ranked athletes per age division in U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-17/18.

The selected athletes advanced through various HPP Identifiers over the last year before ultimately showcasing their skills in a series of on-field evaluations and scrimmages at the National Selection Event held in Mesquite, Texas Nov. 3-6.
Chris Sebrun, the Chief Sport Development/Performance Officer who oversees the HPP program, told Extra Inning Softball:
“We are thrilled to be able to give all these young women the opportunity to showcase their skills and represent their country. It’s never an easy task to narrow down the top athletes across the U.S., but these athletes performed extremely well throughout HPP Identifiers and the National Selection Event to be named top performers. Congratulations to all 90 athletes!
